Short Biography
Dr. Dmytro Bozhko leads research in quantum magnonics, spintronics, and hybrid electromagnetic systems. His work explores fundamental and applied magnetism, with a focus on macroscopic quantum states - quasiparticle Bose-Einstein condensates. Dr. Bozhko is the recipient of multiple prestigious grants, including the NSF CAREER Award and the Department of Energy FAIR initiative. He directs the Microwave Magnonics Group at UCCS, which partners with industrial and academic collaborators to develop a quantum ecosystem of the future. In addition to his research, Dr. Bozhko is deeply committed to undergraduate mentorship and quantum education, and his students have earned national recognition for their work. Dr. Bozhko holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and joined UCCS in 2019 following postdoctoral appointments in Germany and the UK (Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation).
